Rob Collins & Ashley Hall

Square Peg is produced and written by Rob Collins and Ashley Hall.

Rob is a corporate video producer, with clients ranging from a regional bank to an international manufacturer of commercial food service appliances. He has a BFA from Florida State and likes to hang out with his wife, Mary Kay, and their three kids.

Ashley is an award-winning screenwriter and political consultant. She received her BA in Communications and Film from Virginia Tech. She loves her dog, her family, cooking, and traveling. 


Marie & Beth

Co-producer Marie Huynh-Kim-Bang (left) is from Paris, France, and holds a PPE degree from the University of York. She currently works in a start-up aiming at preventing food industrial waste, and occasionally teaches French to Rob over FaceTime (they hope to make another podcast in France one day).

Associate producer Beth Fereday is from Bedford, England and has a research masters in philosophy from the University of York. When not interviewing yellowbellies, she spends her time traveling and listening to true crime podcasts. Beth currently lives in Ontario, Canada and works for a tech company.


Ana Sandra & Jessica Abel

Researcher Ana Sandra (left) is a journalist specializing in research and investigative reporting. Her recent projects focus on video and TV production, concentrating on current affairs, factual and observational documentaries, and also in undercover filming.

Editorial advisor Jessica Abel is an author and founder of the Autonomous Creative Collective. She works with ambitious creative pros and businesses to carve out the deep focus needed to finish—and launch—the game-changing work they want to be known for.
